Company ASTIN Catalysts and Chemicals, s.r.o., was founded in 1999 under original name ASTIN s.r.o. Subject of its entrepreneurship was locksmithery and waste disposal except dangerous waste. The following changes were made upon decision of the General Meeting on 15.01.2009:
- company changed name from ASTIN s.r.o. to ASTIN Catalysts and Chemicals, s.r.o.;
- subject of business activities was extended;
- headquarters of the company were transferred from Chlumec u Ústí nad Labem to industrial
premises UNIPETROL RPA, s.r.o., in Litvínov.
Headquarters of company ASTIN Catalysts and Chemicals, s.r.o., are located within industrial premises of UNIPETROL RPA, s.r.o., in Litvínov. Advantage of this location is immediate contact with operators of catalytic processes and sorbents. What is concurrently positive is the fact that significant abridging of management mechanisms among research and development departments of the UNIPETROL group, company ASTIN Catalysts and Chemicals, s.r.o., and productions units of stated companies is taking place.
Total company situation is strongly orientated on its further development and this intention is supported by the company owners.
After repurchase of the production line for the manufacturing of synthetic hydrotalcite in Dolní Rožínka the company became co-owner of patent number 294533 „Catalyst on basis of oxide transition metals for total oxidation of volatile organic mediums and method of its production“ (1/3) and next patent number 287179 „Synthetic hydrotalcite production method“ (½).
Since December 2009 our company is the trade-marks proprietor of AST Cat, AST Sorb, AST Zeo and AST Carb.
